New Year...

Alexi Shaw just checking in for the first blog for 2016. Have been very busy working with Melange Books and getting my new series ready for publication later this year and even into 2017! I'm so excited to be working with a great Publisher and love their attention to detail in everything that they do!

Getting all the edits done, and then the selection of the series book covers. Now that's an experience. So many things to choose from...fonts, colors. Me, I love abstract covers that leaves readers really curious about what's behind that mysterious cover. Will it be a hot romance, or a love that's just simmering? That's the fun part of writing...putting the last dot on the final sentence of your book...and looking forward to do all the other 'things' that go with getting published.

Meanwhile, enjoying a surprisingly 'springlike' day in Chicago in the middle of February! Who would have thought it? And of course, there' s the outdoor stadium game this weekend where the Chicago Blackhawks will take Minnesota Wild! Now, that's going to be awesome. Of course, we'll win...sorry Wild fans, but our boys have this one in the bag!
